Pavel Zacek ( born 1959 in Brno, CZ) has graduated from Charles University, Faculty of Medicine, Hradec Kralove in 1984. He started his professional career at a regional surgical department in Novy Bydzov. Two years later he joined the team of Department of Cardiac Surgery, University Hospital in Hradec Kralove and in 1995 he passed the board qualification in cardiac surgery. He has been working at this unit throughout his lifetime career, having reached a full professorship in 2019.
